Well, he could make 150,000 to work 8 hours away. Or he could make zer9o dollars to quit. Those were his options. Not ideal but that's what he had for the position he had. Not ideal but he refused to move us to to the 3rd world country of Miami and payed for us to be brought up in luxury. Something he is still paying off till today.

My dad worked 8 hours away. He could only come up once every 2-3 weeks to be with us. And I was appreciative for it becausenhenprovidednfornmy family.
Ever since I heard Maron bitch about that, I knew he wanted a fricking violin and pity ducking party
(A) type better and (B) there's more to it than his dad worked too much. He talks about his issues with his dad pretty openly. It has defined him as a person. They simply don't get along on top of everything else.
And (C) who cares? Is he funny? Yes or no. If you don't think he's funny, then so be it, but don't couch it in terms of "I don't like that he doesn't like his dad because I loved my near absentee father!!" You seem to be projecting.

Well..... I'll tak it's. Because I realize I put me in a position to be more successful than 99.9% of people and to achieve that required Scarfsce.
