Oh yea he bought that corner from and built a shop there but never finished the shop. It's just sitting there with open doors.
It's right next to the water tanks and the new community center/baseball park they are building.
He is selling? That's going to be a busy area.

I don't know, I've just been looking at possibly getting a lot with some 171 frontage and noticed that one this morning.

Oh OK. Yea he just bought it last year so I would be shocked if he sold it.
171 frontage is getting pricey so you better hurry. I am kicking myself over selling the piece I did have.
I want to lease some spaces along 171 though to put up some billboards to lease out. Delia just got a prime sign spot on 171 by that huge Exxon going into Gillis.

Too much money tied up in it by the owners and it really didn't offer anything none of the other stores offered. Plus it is right in the middle and not really close to the more populated areas of Ragley or Longville like the other stores.

I think they want $280K for the land and building IIRC...lol.
They don't have that much tied up in it and you could build a much nicer place for $280K

Really? I've never been in the place but from the road and considering being right off the main, I guess I just figured it would be more. That area is going to explode in 5-7 years.

It might be now. I haven't looked into it since they listed it but at one time that's what it could be had for. They paid like $40K for the land and that building kit cost about $25K. It could easily be built for much less. The land next door to them could be bought from Mr Felice right now actually. He has been trying to sell it.

Nah...that's still a little too far north. Everything is happening South of the overpass. Plus everything around that place is owned by timber companies who will never sell.

We rented a house from a family friend. Wife is related to the many Vincent's around here. 
Son is at Vincent settlement school and he seems to like it. A couple more years here and I'm retired back to MS for good. I'm tired of the engineering business.
