Why doesn't the mainstream media have coverage of the floods in West Virginia?

It is really bad in the state. A lot of damage and many lives have been lost. I think it is shitty how the media is not reporting the devastation to an already improvished area that needs a ton of help.
Thoughts?

Only white people flooded.
Cant blame people for ignoring minorities like Katrina

Does this mean the next season of Moonshiners will be canceled?

No black people and they are gun lovers in WV.

Because the misery of poor white people is not newsworthy these days.

The same reason we don't cover it when a Cat 6 super hurricane hits the Philippines.

Because there is no racism from white people towards black folks. Black folks aren't losing their houses or businesses.
The mayor and governor are not black.
But if it were the other way around, well that would be like Katrina coverage and non stop press conference about getting immediate help from multiple state departments

I get West Virginia gets shite on for being a shitty state, but they are really good people. I think the lack of coverage sucks arse by the national media. A ton of devastation. They got more rain yesterday which will cause more flooding. A big event was cancelled (Greenbrier Classic) because of the flooding.

It's been the first segment on the NBC evening news the last 3 days. How much coverage do you want to see

Because no one gives a shite.

Apparently, this was the 1st hole tee at the course where the PGA event was going to be.

Almost half of the CBS News too. Maybe it's just Faux News that's not covering it.

Is this we we have the dick measuring contest about who's natural disaster is worse and starting making Katrina comparisons?
LOL of course
LOL of course

Because no one can be blamed and they can't stir controversy, yet. Media today is a shite show

Won't be cancelled, just very watered down.
