Why doesn't the city remove the ladders and tents down the parade route?

They offend me, they must be taken down. Isn't against the law to litter the streets with these items. Not only a huge safety issue, pretty trashy as well, imo.

Those damn laders are always causing problems, with their constant loading of cargo.

Ladders for kids is good for everyone. Ladders for adults are trashy and should be banned.

I'm talking about douches going out there a week before setting up a military fortress out on Orleans and St Charles

Since when were ladders or tents ever put on the street? The ladders must be a certain distance back from the street in order to not fall on people. Cops actually do walk around and ask people to move them back. The canopies or "tents" are for coverage during rain in most cases. Should LSU remove the chairs and canopies during tailgating because you think they look like "trash"?

If they are being used to save a parking spot... yes.

tents are prohibited completely but for some reason people still bring them. I have yet to see that enforced and the city revised the Mardi Gras rules a couple of years ago
