I'm pretty sure they never use it.

I have (not) gotten many packages that say they were delivered and weren't yet. So stupid.

I always hear yall bitching about it, but I've never had a problem with its accuracy.

well i suppose there is nothing "inacurrate" about this. It's just pretty pathetic they dont have tracking in 2014(about to be 2015).

To give you hope but it usually turns out like this

USPS is fricking worthless. The last two trips I've made:
1. "Our only digital scale doesn't work and we have no backup so I can't properly weigh this package to determine postage."
2. "Our stamps are locked in a drawer and the only person with the key is on vacation right now."

They always claim that it is being processed then the next update is the Karl Malone knocking on the door with the package.

if websites offered the function of "pay $5 more to ensure you package is not shipped to you by USPS" i wouldnt even think twice about doing it.

I've never been able to track a package with their system.

They need to drop the large package game and just deliver letter sized mail under a certain weight

Nothing pisses me off more when a company send me a UPS tracking number only to see the fricking thing get transferred to the USPS.

My favorite is when you order something and it's shipped FedEx... but FedEx gets it to your town and then hands it over to the local post office. Well USPS doesn't deliver to my physical address (PO Box only) so the package ends up getting sent back to the shipper.
FedEx has some kind of contract w/ USPS for certain shipments... but you don't get told about it until it's too late.

Yeah that's aggravating as frick. It takes 2 days to get here from Colorado, then 3 days to get to my house from college drive.
