Yeah, but up until about 3-4 years ago, the Mustang still sported a wheezy 4.0L that could barely run with a 4 cylinder Camry. I think it had a solid rear axle until this year.

the very first Mustang 64.5 had an generator vs. alternator and was is is a sweet car but they oly made it to keep it with the vette!

And IMO, Mustang isn't a bad sports car either. The Challenger is the one that is still a straight line, 1/4 mile focused muscle car throwback.

Yep, the new Camaros look really sharp and seem to perform very well.
I still prefer Mustangs, but if I were in the market today, I'd definitely test drive the Camaro before making my decision.

Mustang GT to Camaro SS, I'm going mustang. If the ZL1 type money was in the price range, that would be my choice over the comparable mustang.

I'd rather have a loaded Mustang than an entry or mid-level Mercedes, but I'd rather have a mid-level Lexus (which I currently have) over a Mustang.
