They are pretty sweet looking cars and I'd much rather own American muscle over some foreign piece of crap from Europe.

It's not just Mustang. All American muscle cars are trashy.

I always seem to see on here that folks say they are trashy when they look badass compared to some Audi.

Because OT ballers drive Italian sports cars with V-10's, not V-6 Detroit sports cars

The first Mustangs had 6 cylinder base engines.

The Mustang, and to even a greater extent, the Camaro, are no longer "muscle cars". They are legit sports cars now. Like they can turn and stuff.

The Challenger is still a muscle car.

Let's not forget that the new V6 mustangs also have more HP than most of the V8s that came standard in the older models.

I have a friend with a new S4 and a highly modded '98 Cobra. Can't decide if he's trashy or not

A guy down the street from me has two box mustangs 5.0. I don't consider him trashy. Nice guy and the vehicles are in immaculate condition.

The stigma with mustangs and cameros came about in the 90's with the introduction of the Barbie cars.
