You are very wrong and mor people know English as a second language than any other language in the world.

When I insert my card it should not ask me what language to continue in, no matter where in the world I'm at.

I agree.
Other countries typically will have a selection for other languages which is written in (gasp) other languages. Particularly in major international airports.

Banks are now international and it's a part of their programming design. Every country in Europe S-America, Japan and N-America have the same queations. My wife is Polish and prefers her ATM languages in Polish as well as her email accounts in Polish as well as her BBC and Wikipedia accounts in Polish. Welcome to globalization.
Eta: her pharmacy also prints all directions on her Rx bottles in Polish.

I'm more concerned why braille is on the ATM machine.
You have never checked, because the United States has no offical language.

No.

No, most Muslims don't speak Arabic. Depending on which country they are from they speak their native language. So An American Muslim speaks in English whilst a Japanese Muslim speaks in Japanese. Only Muslims from Arabic countries speak Arabic....
Though Muslims are encouraged and do aspire to learn the Arabic language in order to better understand the Quran and the word of God which is written in Arabic. Most read the translated versions
