No one wants to risk political suicide to close any of them. Jindal was the only one brave enough to float the idea at times.
You don't need Southern and Grambling., plus both are terribly mismanaged.
Several need to be junior or community colleges.
McNeese and ULL could combine
LA Tech and ULM could combine
Not really sure why you need LSU A, E and Shreveport campuses.

1999. The first graduating class to have ULL on the diplomas was in 2002. The name change in the 1980's was shite all over and tossed out by the legislature and USL would exist another 15 years.

Three. LSU health operates two separate medical schools in Shreveport and New Orleans.

They raise the requirement every year to cap enrollment
LSU has a cap of around 30k
A$M is 52k
UT is around 56K
You control it by entrance requirements and number of offers
LSU got more acceptances then expected so they are up this year.

that should have been a warning sign for anyone who can move and can't start their own business

that was probably Jindal's last bit of actually caring about the state

LSU does not raise the entrance requirements every year. I would say they haven't been raised in a while. And F. King is currently in trouble with the Board for *ignoring* the current requirements and granting too many waivers to allow in students based on a "holistic" evaluation.
