The only fans that I know to be largely trashy are Philly sport fans. Of any sport. They are some mean sumbitches.

Not true at all. I don't remember a NFL fan poisoning the trees of another NFL team.

Which ever fan base has fewer college grads is the more trashy. It varies by location
Hardcore Texans fans are more trash than the various college fans in town.
In Alabama, Alabama fans are trashier.
In New orleans, Saints fans are trashier.
