I'm not fat, baw! I work out five times a week and eat healthy %75 of the time

Your body craves and loves calorie-heavy food because the body is designed to survive and survival requires calories.
Problem is modern humanity has unlimited access to calories and too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing.

I'm not fat either but I do crave shitty, processed foods from time to time. You would think that our bodies would crave what we need, right? I see what you're getting at and I've often wondered the same thing. Why do we not crave broccoli and brussel sprouts and almonds?

It's also a hell of a lot cheaper.

The human species has evolved to have a strong appetite for fatty/salty/sugary foods becasue our body requires a certain amount of those nutrients and they have been historically hard to come by until the past 100 years.
Thanks to capitalism and advances in technology, we are able to mass produce these foods. However, the evolution of the human species has not caught up with the increased accessibility we have to these foods. As a result, we have fat people.

Eating healthy is for betas

It is true that once you change your lifestyle and eat healthy you crave healthy foods
I know it's weird but I crave charred Brussels and veggies and roasted potatoes.
Also some good smoked chicken. I cut out sweets a few years ago and haven't missed it.

Because food made with real ingredients that tastes good actually is very very good for you if you live an active lifestyle. Our bodies are not designed for the sedentary lifestyle we now live.
