Why do they not sell VW sleeper vans in the States anymore?

Seems you can only get them in Europe. Sure, you can find the old Hippy vans on eBay but the new ones is a no go. Whats the deal, figured there would be a market for them.

That would be badass in the Appalachians. That would be better than a camper, if it were 4 wheel drive.

Drove one from New Orleans to Laguna Beach in the late '70s.
Had a really good time. This one had a stove and refrigerater.
