Do you not have a roadside assistance rider on your insurance? Only fools change their own tires now.

Had our roof done last week and same company did most of the work in our neighborhood. No nail problems yet. The roofers put large tarps down around the perimeter of the house and carefully cleaned up afterwards.

After my last roof on my house I bought a magnetic pickup tool so I could get them all and not have to fix a lawn tractor tire, an ATV tire, a dirt bike tire and one of my trucks fromt tires.....seriously.

It was nice outside and I had some liquor in the car so figured I'd do it myself

Didn't take long

After they leave, sprinkle some of the nails in the area where they park their cars in the morning. They'll learn their lesson real quick.

Quick CSB

After Katrina I was living with my parents in Diamondhead.

They're roof was repaired.

Two days later I stepped on a 3/4 inch roofing nail.

Buried itself all the way in my heel.

fricking OUCH.

Damn Mexicans.

I'm talking about your kind, Owlie.

I don't know what's worse. Picking up the nails

Rogue, proper roofers walk the perimeter of the house with a huge foot long magnet.

If done correctly, it catches every nail.

I have AAA plus roadside assistance from my car company, yet I always change my own tire. It literally takes me 5 minutes.

Is this something that happens often to you?

FTR, two of my vehicles do not have the option of roadside tire changes.

Some of them offer bail bondsman services. If you ever need that kind of thing.
