Why do people dress in western attire to attend country concerts when they don't dress that way or live that life?

I don't dress like a baseball or football player when going to games.

I don't get it, it is like wearing a costume.

Am I missing something?

The tv show Yellowstone has caused this western-chic obsession

All hat, no cattle.

Why do people wear suits to weddings when they don’t wear suits every day

It's fun.

Literally no different than wearing a Saints jersey to a Saints game.

Ive never once heard an actual country boy say that hes a fan of garth brooks. That being said if you are going to Nola to see garth brooks for 500$ a ticket then how country can you be ?

You right, no different, they are both lame.

A grown man should never wear a jersey.

Have you ever been to baseball or football game? The stands are full of fans wearing jerseys.

Would’ve been a better thread

Go take a bath with your dog, regroup, and try harder next time

That battle was fought in 2007 or so. The jerseys won.

For the same reason people wear shite they don’t normally wear to other concerts.

The misery that oozes from this board over people just doing things that don’t bother anyone else is palpable.

A lot of people wear jerseys for a game. Dressing for the occasion is a real thing in many instances.

A shirt is not a costume.

I wear cowboy boots, but I would rather light a porcupine on fire and shove it up my arse sideways than go to a Garth Brooks concert.
