Why do guitar/piano players make scrunched up/retarded faces when they play?

It’s the douchiest thing. If you’re headlining Woodstock, in the middle of an acid trip, and have a 100k people vibing with you then maybe you’re justified making odd faces to show you’re really “into it.” Everyone else, settle the frick down and just play your instrument. You look ridiculous.

You sound jealous and ignorant.
Just like every other thread you post.
Music is spiritual and emotional and intense and when you are the one making that music you can’t help the physical manifestation of your spiritual enlightenment emerging from your essence.

When you close your eyes and feel the music your senses become heightened. It's why a lot of players also play barefoot on comfortable rugs... They can feel it in their feet too and the rugs feel extra soft.
