its all in the way you approach them and restrain them to put it on. they can see it in your movements that you are doing something abnormal and they don't like it.

I give my dogs Trifexis. I crush the tablets and mix it into some canned dog food. It's like their once a month treat. They down it in seconds.

I think it's the fact that the suppository we use is just humiliating to a dog.
