I have never seen a group of people bitch more about and blame another generation than millennials.

Literally worse than Al Sharpton and feminazis. If I had a gun to my head and they said you have to listen to Al Sharpton drone on about the white man and a feminist talk about the patriarchal society and its ills or a millennial talk about anything, I would get a bowl of ice cream and invite Al and the hairy legged shebeast to have some with me before I listened to the word of a millennial.

The issue is that Junior will more than likely never receive ANY of his money back that was paid into socialist security

The ole violin sympathy emoticon.. a typical Boomer/Millenial reply.

I don't take either side because i think both generations are smashed in between the three greatest generations. They both believe more in the social movement rather than the economical movement that is needed to sustain our western way of life. Need proof? The boomers bitched, so the 80s generation inspired cable, remote controls, video consoles, PCs, etc. The millenials bitched so the 90s inspired wifi, social media, digital com, starbucks etc. You have both protested against wars because A) The media sets the social agenda for your era B) Never knew why wars were fought and why you needed to participate. Spent/Spend most of your time with your head stuck in the media's propaganda machine, rather than build something to make money from the machine. Both generations mooch down the socialist sector of our government while the two last surviving great generations sustain enough GDP for the boomers to eat up and the millenials are jealous so they eat up future GDP.

I now understand why y'all hate each other

Since the millennials are so worried about the debt how about supporting politicians that want to have the Gov't spend less and work on lowering it. Yet it seems millennials support the candidates that are all about more spending.

Before you take credit for saving the world, you need to get your facts straight.

Famous Baby Boomers have left their mark on current history
• Richard Branson, Entrepreneur, b. 1950
• Steve Wozniak, Apple Computer co-founder, b. 1950
• Eric Schmidt, Google CEO, PARC researcher b. 1955
• Steve Jobs, Apple Computer co-founder, b. 1955
• Bill Gates, entrepreneur, IT, b. October 28, 1955

People tend to be 30 years old (plus or minus 5 years) before making significant contributions to society.
Anything done in 1985 means the person making the change was born in 1955, a boomer.....

SS and Medicare are a handout to you? Guess I haven't paid into the system for the last 40 years. I know this will be new to you, but once you get a job, take a look at the deductions. You will be surprised to learn that taxes and other deductions are taken out for governmental programs such as SS and Medicare. I'm just getting a portion of my money back, Junior.

Never fails to amaze me
......

Never fails to amaze me either. The OP is a typical misguided millennial. GET A JOB AND READ THE DEDUCTIONS ON YOUR STUB....DUFUS.

:shakeshead:

I really don't understand the generational arguments.

However, your inability to see the entire landscape past your own concerns is mind numbing.

I do look at my deductions. I also know that I pay more now (and have for about 15 years now) than folks did 40 years ago for benefits I will never see. I have to then pay more for my retirement accounts just to come abreast with what soon to be retirees are going to receive. Making less than years past when adjusted for inflation. That's just my reality. I won't throw a tantrum over it, it is what it is.
