It's an in-group signal for about half the country.

I probably should be wearing a mask around my house with all the pollen in the air, and my allergies kicking into high gear this week.

Why are you concerned about if someone wants to wear a mask?

It’s the same both ways- don’t worry about someone else’s business

I agree. Just surprised to see so many people in the Houston area still wearing them after mandates have been lifted

I was in TX last week, in Houston, SA, and Dallas. 14 of the 15 businesses (including hotels) I went in had mandates still in place. I had to walk back to the car when I got to the door of the first two because I didn't expect mandates. The one store that didn't was about 50/50 with masks and I just kept mine on since it was already there.

I expected it to be the complete opposite.

Why are you so offended at me asking? Do you wear a shirt sleeve over your face still thinking it's going to stop anything?

And no one should care what you think is best for you. Im with you and wear a mask when refinishing furniture, cutting grass when its dusty, applying polyurethane to said refinished furniture. But shouldnt we be allowed to wear whatever we think is best for our bodies? My body my choice for killing humans, literally. But not my choice for a virus with 99.8878886866868997688% survival rate?

I was in Houston Friday-Sunday last weekend. Every place I went required a mask for entry. All restaurants still had limited seating except one Chinese restaurant in Chinatown.

It's fine if that's the line you wanna take, but don't pretend that wearing a mask and being terrified of the air and people around you is anything like normal life.

None of you thought of it at all before the giant year long propaganda campaign to push it.

People don't WANT to wear them, they've been normalized. The fear campaign has changed people's perception of their reality for the worse.

The real problem is that the pro-maskers don't share your "do what you want" attitude.

They'd have you masked and locked in your house forever, that's how insidious this shite is.

So get to pushing back, or enjoy mask world for a very long time.

If the store has a sign that says “mask required,” I wear a mask, because I’m not an entitled scab who thinks he can do as he pleases in a private business.
