I'm 2 weeks in. Lost 10 lbs already. Couple of my teammates have lost more than that.

Basically it's an 8 week program where you score yourself daily in 7 different categories (nutrition, exercise, sleep, hydration, etc).

I used to drink 5 diet cokes a day. Haven't had one in 2 weeks.

I have done it twice. It is a great way to reevaluate the way you live your day to day life. I have made several long lasting lifestyle changes because of the program. We did it while doing serious workouts in our boot camp class. Would definitely recommend.

When you cut out alcohol, you lose an immediate 10-20 lbs

Blanket statement. Sure, it certainly helps, but you have to be at a deficit to see an impact. If I cut alcohol and eat over 3,000 calories a day, I'm sure that's a wash. Might actually gain a lot of weight. Cutting alcohol and eating sensibly, absolutely you'll lose weight.

If you maintain your current lifestyle and cut booze, you drop weight. I went sober for 2 years and weighed 98 lbs and looked like Skeletor, with muscle mass. You knew what I meant.

Supposedly something in the artificial sweetener stimulates appetite. I've known of several people who cut out diet soft drinks and lost weight.

Did you guys replace the Diet drinks with coffee or go cold turkey with the caffeine?

I lost almost 60. Went from 240 to 182 when I quit. I ate well. Took me two years to get back to a healthy 215.

Cheat by adding meth to your diet. Don't worry about the addictive side effects that will pass in time.

Yeah but if I cut cigarettes and coffee, it will offset...right?

Who am I kidding, I'm not cutting alcohol.

Not true. I gained weight. It will eventually come off, but it's common to gain weight in the short term.

Eta: It is that whole remembering to eat thing.

Unsweetened green tea.

You will learn to love it.

To another poster, I am 6 ft 1 and went from 225 down to 187.

It is awesome.
