A radio box, boombox, etc?

Upvote for yes, downvote for no.

I have a CC Radio, just because I still like the idea of listening to "terrestrial radio" as opposed to streaming everything online.

I have a multi band radio and a really old table top radio with vacuum tubes. The tube radio is amazingly powerful. I get WWL like its a local station. I'm in Orlando.

It soothes me when I drive over especially tall bridges.

I have a multi band radio that I use only if I have to, as in LSU is not on any TV.

Had to break it out during J State game when it stormed hard for a while and blocked satellite, and I had to reinstall/login my streaming apps because I had not used them since baseball.

The storm quit and the TV was back on before the radio came back from a commercial break.

I got one I bought in 1984 and it still works great. I also have my dad's shortwave from the 60's that still works, but shortwave radio kinda sucks now thanks to the collapse of the Soviet Union and streaming on the Internet.

Six box radios (radio with internal speaker), one tuner, one receiver, couple of Walkmen-type radios, a PC based FM/RDS Modulation Analyzer and an Anritsu MS2721B 9 KHz to 7 GHz Spectrum Analyzer.

Then again I work in radio, so...

I have a semi old receiver/tuner, but I push Advent speakers. Circa 1970's.

The only time I listen to the radio at home is in the bathroom and old fashion speakers are louder and easier to hear than the phone when I'm shitting, shaving & showering.
