We give Yeti's to customers, it's probably the most recognized name across the country. We tried K2s since they are local but didn't get the same reaction.
As for how they work, 99.9% of people won't notice the difference from one to the next.

All of the better brands do a good job with this.
I've never put a single part on any of the Yetis I have, through years of tailgating, fishing and vacations. They don't leak, either.
I hate to re-buy stuff.

Yeah they all seem pretty similar. The difference maker is most likely how long they hold up and whether or not they leak.

Now that I have a RTIC that I can put side by side with a Yeti, no way I would ever buy a Yeti for double the price. It's the same damn thing.
