Fact. My buddy has a camp two down from his on the Tangi. Talked to him several times. He is certifiably insane.

They show these guys walking around in waist deep water. No way I would do that if there was even a chance gators were within 100 miles.

True story about him. Last year he went to the Dr. claiming that he had something crawling under his skin on his arm. ( apparently something he picked in the swamp ) dr told him he was crazy and walked out of the room for a minute. While he was gone Shelby pulled out his knife and cut his arm. When the dr came back he rold him do you believe me now?

Not really, I didn't see it but I know several ppl that said they seem him do that in a bar once while he was drunk.
If you really want to meet him, that can be arranged.

I've met Jeff Landry and he was pretty cool. Jace Robertson is pretty awesome. Also, my dad's met the surviving Geist Brother and he lives a few miles from my parents' house.

I grew up in Ponchatoula and have a camp on the Tangipahoa River. I've known Shelby a while. Shelby is crazy. Certifiable.
