I see that house from the river all the time. Didn't know it was that nice on the inside. We always thought scarface should live there from the looks of the outside.

Retired, used to own financial services company. Had an offshore fishing operation out of Panama also for fun (but sold that I think a few years back).

I saw some kind of inflatable toy in the swimming pool once that was about 15' high! Don't know what the hell it was...

I have lived in both Old Metairie and Mandeville and in my opinion neither one is better than the other.

You give up land size to be closer to the city, you give up convenience to the city for more land. Traffic is a cluster F in both places.
