Putting it on while launching a boat (example) saves the transmission from unnecessary stress


The force is on the brakes not on the teeth of the transmission

I always use it when I'm parking on a boat ramp to let the boat in the water. Not necessary, but just as extra precaution so I don't end up on YouTube with a truck in the water.

Use mine all the time when we go off-roading, it helps with standing starts on steep inclines.
