We have used two men and a truck previously but their prices are way up (after the flood they jumped) and their reviews online are getting worse. Student movers seem to have good reviews online but I know nothing about them. Anyone have any experience with a local company?

I've used student movers 3 times and they have always been great.

there used to be a guy(former LSU basketballer,) that had a local moving company that was very good, can't recall the name of his company but maybe this will jog the memory of somebody on here that does

Express delivery was the best experience I’ve had and really cheap. Showed up on time and worked their butts off: ?(225) 924-9990?

Abba movers are VERY reasonable. Nick Marquette is the owner. Give him a call or text. (985) 662-9021
They have good reviews too.

You friends with any of the same ladies off the board that I am?

My brother does moves with his friend's company on the side of his regular job. They specialize in antique furniture and do a careful job, but he said they range anywhere from a 1BR apartment to moving people in CCLA.

Not sure of pricing compared to others since I've never priced movers.

I second ABBA. I've only used them once but always recommend them. The people who have used my suggestion say they loved them.

Two Men and a Truck are a bit pricier but they are quick, efficient, and polite. I am a firm believer in “you get what you pay for.”

LL- pretty sure we have some mutual friends. I have a few antiques and collectibles since I am old.
