Didn't some of that area get actual African immigrants?

It's amazing what a job the media is doing on the weak minded. I mean it's not even difficult, but the effectiveness is incredible.

I know a couple of Sudanese families who live in that area. One lives right across I-285 from Stone Mountain (the city).

It’s on private property if I remember right. State doesn’t own it.

The monument is protected by state law though. I'm not sure it matters if it's on private property. Part of The agreement of removing the Confederate image from the state flag was to protect all Confederate monuments and memorials.

I can't see a state legislature voting to remove that.

We took two of our grandchildren to see the restored Battle of Atlanta Cyclorama two weeks ago. Didn't have time to hit up Stone Mountain.

The Cyclorama I'm guessing can more easily be made politically correct by how it's presented and interpreted.

Not so much Stone Mountain. Hope it doesn't end up like the Taliban blowing up the Buddha in Afghanistan. Not a lot of difference between the Taliban and the American Left in these matters insofar as I can see.

Buddha and Bobby Lee yoked together in unlikely fellowship sharing the hatred of two groups of fanatical terrorists. Who'd have foreseen that?

I saw a headline in an email about crashing through capital barricades earlier today and wondered myself why i hadn’t been seeing anything blanketing social media or elsewhere, but i never had to time to search into it or got distracted by other things. I figured it ended up being accidental until just checking and hearing cop passed away.

The Stone Mountain carvings are legit. Why can’t the left just ignore things that they don’t like and go on with their lives? This affects nobody

I am pretty sure there are slave-owning Buddhists in places like Tibet.

The left is the party of tolerance, as long as the tolerance that occurs is what they want. That also makes them the party of hypocrisy, but it doesn't matter. Most of the country is okay with it.

They can consult with the Taliban on how to best demolish stone monuments. They and the left are comrades in arms in their battles against art they feel is offensive.

I am guessing black racists will eventually decide, with some self-serving white pieces of shite going along.

Virginia enacted a monument law in 96, liberal courts, and a Democratic majority, gutted it.

Demographics are the only protection you have. And it you lose that. You lose everything.
