Once upon a time there was light in my life
But now there's only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart

I was living on a farm when I saw the last one...

all of the animals thought night time had suddenly hit. Chickens were running towards their roost, cows were all running into one another to get into the barn, even crickets and frogs started chirping and shite. then, all of a sudden, it was like daybreak again and they all went into their morning mode.

To farm animals, it was the shortest night ever!

There was supposed to be one like in 1993 but it wasn't much to see in Nola. Clear sunny day and not even a shadow.

I did when i was a teenager. Partial eclipse, we were in phoenix for it.

It was cool, but not life changing or amythong.

I have. Right at the part of the song when Roger Waters sings "All that you touch and all that you see", all of the house lights were turned off and these lasers were turned on forming the prism from Dark Side of the Moon in the air over the crowd right in front of the stage.

It was fricking epic.

Yeah one in BR in 1984? Light dark light. Neat but not worth the hype...

1984. Looked at the eclipse for a second a few different times and guess what? I still have perfect vision.

I saw the 1984 eclipse - despite what some people think, it was not a total eclipse. It was an annular eclipse. The one Monday, if you're in the zone of totality will completely block the sun for up to two and a half minutes.

I don't know, I was playing baseball all day and it was a clear day, and didn't see shite. I remember well Bc I kept looking up at the sun. All I got was a headache.
