How is this subdivision? I know back in the 90s it was a really nice area. Is it still nice area to live or has it gone downhill?

Yeah, the place has really gone down hill in case you couldn't figure out by $500k homes in the subdivision.

Home values still good? I know there is always a chance of losing out if you sell down the road but are the homes holding steady?

No homes in WOL need any renovation. I know of not one home that is vacant in the subdivision.

Lol. Houses range from 400's to 1 million maybe more. I'm not sure I understand your question. I don't think price ranges like that suggest a neighborhood going downhill.

The size of the lots and the school in the subdivision guarantee the home values will never fall. FWIW

thanks, lot size is what I am looking for. Wife and I were about to build and then after some talking decided we wanted to find a home with a big lot. White Oak popped in my head and hadn't been in there since the early 90s.

It's a very nice neighborhood. They've kept the white in white oak.

Based on your question, you are not moving into White Oak. I suggest Ascendion Parish for your cookie cutter needs.

lol, I guess that sounded bad. I was more concerned with 500k homes that need 100k in renovations

just moved out of Ascension Parish and back into Baton Rouge. Not sure why my question makes you think I need a cookie cutter house. I actually do not want cookie cutter.
