White Linen Night question re: attire

I've been to several WLN in the past. I usually just wore a white linen shirt. This year I purchased some white linen pants. Do you all free ball in these things? I don't want my wild designed underwear to be seen.
My only problem is that I have a hairy arse, and it's generally hot out that night. I don't want hairy arse to be able to be seen either. Do you guys have any suggestions?
eta..I'll also be sweating at Satchmo. Come catch a few drinks with me in the AC at Lafitte's if any of you want to mingle on Sunday.

We're staying down by Decatur on Ursulines this weekend but I doubt we'll do either event. Lafittes? Last time I went in there it seemed like the Cats Meow's owners (just an example) had bought it and turned it to shite.

Likely, but I'm not sure if the wife wants to invite the friends out. If it's just the two of us then probably just for walking around drinks. I'm expecting more mixologist / restaurant bar type places.
