Lapdog 1: Great pyredane. 90lbs of 'tard and love. I don't have many pics of her snuggling. She was laid across the person in the pic until I called her.

Lapdog 2: Lab/Rot 135lbs. He's over 9 years old with a bad back, so I have to lift him onto the bed now. He whines all night, front paws on the bench in front of the bed otherwise. He is laid across the top of our bed here, protecting his mom.

Over 225lbs of total lapdog in our house.

Quick hijack

Where did you get the Great Dane puppy? I may be looking to get one eventually and would like some recommendations.

What color scheme is he? I may look into getting a blue.

Also RIP my baby Tig who got ran over about 4 months ago. I miss my lil man so damn much.

Black lab is 70lbs and is 9 months old.

He doesn't think twice about climbing into your lap.

150lb Great Dane who still tries to get in my lap any time I am on the floor (isn't allowed on couch)

Also sits on my lap if I am sitting on the couch.

He's a sweet thing. But a dummy.

I have 12# and 18# but when they constantly battle for position it might as well be 150!

My 60# dog growled at my toddler and then my wife for no reason.

So when my having a big dog experiment failed. Had her for a while. I guess i was just fostering her a while.

Next dog will be a legit, 10 lb lap dog. Gotta get a small dog.

I got mine from a rescue group. Drove out to Gulf Shores to pick him up and ended up finding the breeder through luck. He's solid black with a white chest/bottom half of his paws. Ended up getting his AKC papers and found out he's 100% russian blood line. His dad was 215lbs and looks more like a mastiff (big boxy head).

He did say it was likely their last dane litter because the sire was getting too old. There is a really great rescue group in Baton Rouge though and they get puppies all the time.

I'll send the guy a text though to see if he's planning on having another litter soon.

I have a easy 250lbs of lab, lab/chow and lab/boykin inside. I don't let them be as lap pups.
