Got this idea from the NP thread. Which occupation do you think is the most referred to when people say "oh I could do anything an X could do"?

I hear this one a lot when I tell people I'm a lawyer, especially from females:

"Oh I would be such a good lawyer I am so good at arguing"

If they look ok I say "oh yeah absolutely" if they are ugly or fat I tell them arguing has very little to do with being an effective attorney and throw a drink in their face.

I'd say "member of Congress" although that would require a boundless appetite for corruption not readily within the capabilities of the average person.

Definitely a truck driver.

Wake up at around 6AM, go inside the truck stop to one of their "Kountry Buffets," eat about 3 full plates worth of damn good greasy breakfast food, hop into the big-rig, and hit the long haul. Then when you get back home to your trailer park, pound a 24-pack and pass out till you have your next trip.

Politician. From a policy angle at least. Most people are convinced that at heart the world is simple and politicians are just too stupid to see things as clearly as they do.
