Going with the Ping G30 SF Tec 10* (lowest loft available) and can't decide between the Stiff or X-Stiff TFC 419D.

My club head is between 115-120 mph. But I know there's more to it than that. Edwin Watts only has the Stiff shaft to test... hit it between 280-300. But I think I'd like a little more control with the X. Only I've read in some places where X is only good for the really big hitters on tour.

Thoughts?

It's in the simulator. I can post a photo I took yesterday. Not trying to make it about that.

X, but really you'll want an aftermarket shaft if you swing anywhere close to 120. Ahina is my personal preference, but it reduces spin infinitely better than stock.

Best way to pick a shaft is a demo day

Weight is pretty important as well as the right stiffness. Best way to go about it is to find a demo day to test a variety

I like the speeder 575 x-stiff

Also the OP is so devoid of details in order to get fit into a shaft. Spin rate? AOA? Height at apex?

IF your stats are correct, I hit this shaft and it is a bomber.

Fujikura Motore Speeder 6.2 Tour Spec Xflex

I hit a power fade with it and even my long drawing friends can't hang unless they get a nice roll.

Then I get too close to the green, skull a wedge over, and bogey

Relationship of clubhead speed to ball speed. Basically how much you pure the ball. You're at 1.45. Optimum is 1.5 (even though some folks disagree).

I'm just trying to figure out what's best. This is why I hate posting this on the OT rather than the MSB
