South Sherwood Wendy's says "Hold my beer and watch this". I stopped there a few months back to grab some lunch. I need to use the restroom so I went in there before ordering. It was the second nastiest restroom I've ever been in. Toilet was full and overflowing onto floor, walls were smeared with all kinds of God knows what.
I left without using the bathroom or touching anything on my way out. No way I was going to order food from that dump. Just about had to take a shower when I got home.
The only good thing about that incident was I didn't just go through the drive thru, or I'd have never known how filthy it was inside.

Been there a few times when I was in college after a night out in Tiger land. That and the Jack in the Box on Burbank were life!

I have a semi hot take:
service at popeyes isn't quite as bad as people say. i'm not sure if they got better or the rest got worse, but some popeyes really aren't that bad.

This is really perplexing to me, I don't get "trashy" vibes from BK in the slightest. Their burgers are in the upper echelon for me as far as fast food goes and I LOVE their onion rings. Their clientele adn staff doesn't seem any beter or worse than jsut about any other chain.
I assume the default answer to this question would obviously be popeye's but even after them I wouldn't really peg BK as being up there.

I don't think I've been to BK in 10 years because their service is so bad. I don't even consider them when looking for something to eat.

whataburger is the answer. most taco bells now days are run really well and clean AF in my opinion.

Could be true elsewhere, but I’m fortunate to have a good one in my town. Every time I stop by, I always see an older guy in there dressed in a spotless uniform mopping the floors, squeegeeing the windows etc. - turns out he’s the franchise owner. All of his employees are clean cut and very polite.
I’ve not had bad service from BK, but I’ve had no service plenty of times. Every one I’ve been to in the past several years is like a ghost town, devoid of both customers and employees.
