Where would you live in BR if you could afford a 300K house?

For a lot of hate BR gets around here, the home prices are getting out of control. And forget Southdowns unless you’re willing to live in a 2 BR, 900 sqft “house”.

Pollard. Still some deals to be had. But have to be willing to do some work or pay someone to do it. The house wont be as big as if you went outside of Pollard/Southdowns.

Look at Kenilworth as well. That area has seen some flipping going on and I believe more will start happening as the original owners move on.

The traffic has a lot to do with the prices in BR. People are sick of the commute and are willing to pay almost anything to avoid it.

These are a lot of married responses.

From a single guy, Spanish Town, Beauregard Town, Garden District, maybe Southdowns. No where else.

I lived in the Garden District. I liked it, but it's mostly a bunch of old people. And can you find a house in that area for $300k?
