College Station, TX...........nothing ever happens there. :rimshot:

ETA: Actually, that part of Texas is not prone to natural disasters. Unless you consider the dumpster fire that is A&M football a natural disaster.

Ireland

In the United States it is Syracuse, New York or depending on the size criteria Corvallis, Oregon.

Underground bunker located approximately at the center of mass (on the surface) of a large tectonic plate.

East-Central Canada. Geologically stable, few tornadoes, outside the tropical zone, wet enough climate that forest fires aren't much of a problem.

Blizzards, though.

I'm thinking the W. North Carolina uplands. But, you gotta watch the methy hillbillies.

I'd assume you'd need a few things:

1. Center of tectonic plate
2. Highlands (as opposed to lowland flood zone)
3. Away from hurricane and tsunami i.e. away from coastlines somewhat
4. Non-tornado conducive landscape like flat arse Kansas
5. Mild seasons (no blizzards or bad 120 degree droughts that cause fires)

Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan.. Some severe weather in the summer, snow in the winter, a few tornados historically but that's it.

Right on the equator somewhere inland, you would also want to avoid wind and water drift patterns that would carry radiation

I don't see Delaware in the news too often, relating to this. Then again, I'm not sure which one is Delaware.
