I've stayed here a few times and it was nice. Either walked to some local bars or took a pedicab if it was a little further out.
Also, if I remember correctly there is free wine and draft beer each night during their happy hour.

I stayed on 16th street at the Adams Mark Hotel for a week, had a great time at lots of bars on that street. A couple I can actually remember are Nawlins Irish Pub about 3-4 blocks down from the hotel and a block over and Rock Bottom Brewery about a block or two down. Great place to be for a week.

Falling Rock Taphouse is a must stop. They've got Pliny the Elder on tap year round. So many craft brews you've never heard of that your head will explode. Make sure you chat with the bartender there. His name was "Foosh" or at least that's how you pronounce it. We drank a shite ton in there and he barely charged us anything
