What's the best way to find day labor? I need someone to help me build cardboard boxes today. I have 1,500 flat cardboard boxes that must be assembled and I'm trying to find anyone who would like a few hours of work.

Home Depot parking lot.
If you want to do it legit, look up local temp companies. They’ll send some guys out at a pretty cheap rate. They’ll charge a minimum of 4 hours but worth it. Did this when moving just to help load/unload and was cheaper than hiring movers.

It would be helpful to know where you live. Someone close to you might know the best spot.
I live in Chamblee, GA, which has tons of transient workers. There is a QT down the road from me. I can go find a handful from about 5am to late morning, sometimes a bit later. They are not hard to find for me. But you might live in a more rural place with less options..
