Wife's jewelry box. The day I got it, I was goofing off between classes and jumped up and hung on the covered walkway over the sidewalk. Ring hung on the I-beam and almost cut my finger off. 19 stitches later I went back and got it. Has never fit again. Oh, & I lost all feeling in that finger. Good times! (Minden High School - February, 1984)

My class ring was stolen my senior year and 7 years later a guy arrested in Philly was found to have it in his possession. He said someone had given it to him but he couldn't remember who. The detectives on the case contacted my high school and were able to identify me as the owner. I was living in Virginia at the time and my parents were notified and the ring was sent back to them. It was pretty beat up and the stone was chipped. No telling where that rings travels took it but it was a rough road for sure. I think my wife has it in her jewelry box.
