Anyone know anything about Algie Hailey's on Metairie Road? Specifically, does anyone know if they are open on Tuesdays and what time they close? I have called them three times, to no avail. Also, I have fruitlessly searched Google for a listing of their operating hours.

I guess calling them or checking google is out of the question?

I just found "Family Barber Shop" on Oak St (Uptown) last weekend and had a pretty good experience. Haircut was $15... but make sure you bring cash.

Oh, and park on a side street about half a block up for free instead of meter on Oak

I have been getting my haircut there since 1967. Should be open now.
Ask for Eddie.

I have been there once. It was okay.

I have blonde hair so, no matter how skilled the barber, I am going to look like a thirteen year old after a haircut.

I've been going there for the past 7 years.

They are open Tuesday thru Saturday until 5.

I go to Eddie or Frank.

I just appreciated the military vacuum style buzzers. I brought me right back to the P/X.
