Nowadays Albertsons unfortunately. It's on the way from work. There is a Walmart Neighborhood Market which is cheaper but it's out of the way.

No simple answer.

Most common stops for regular stuff if I don't need too much: Calandros and Mathernes.
Calandros is on my way home from work, and Mathernes is a mile from Jones' house. Calandros is also my #1 pick for beer.

When actually cooking a legit meal or don't know what we want to make yet: Fresh Market. Best meat counter in the area. Only place I buy steaks, short ribs, pork chops, or fish. (Shrimp is bought at LA Boilers)

For vegetables: Southside Produce. A full buggy is like $20.

Honorable mention to Albertsons. If I'm doing a larger haul of groceries, I'll go to Albertsons.

My wife and I were big shills for Publix as I grew up on it in Florida. We would drive 50 miles from Biloxi to go to Publix in Mobile once a month but after moving to Ohio last Summer and discovering Kroger, my wife and I debate on which store is better. If I retire from the Air Force to an area where both exist like Georgia or Tennessee we may fight over the grocery shopping.

Publix is better than Kroger 90% of the time here in GA. I can only think of 1 Kroger where I would say it is on par with the nearby Publix's.

Aldis has decent produce cheap, and their bottled water is about 2.25 a case...I buy it by the truckload for the farm. I bought 25 cases yesterday for about 60 bucks tax and all.

I noticed while I was there that the strawberries and blueberries were around a buck fifty and the pineapples were 99 cents.
