My family keeps a condo in the warehouse district. There was a time when Anthony Davis and Sean Payton lived there across the hall from each other on the first floor.

I think I hit a tee shot on Mag 8 that probably hit his window. That thing hasn't stopped slicing yet.

Ormond Estates

is this the former Ormond Plantation? Lived there when it was a relatively new development and a few Saints lived there, Bum Phillips had a house there at the time

Ormond plantation is the name of the plantation there and generally the name used for the part of Ormond between the railroad and the river. Ormond area is the largest part of Destrehan now and even has a questionable area off to the side (apartments off Stanton Hall ).

Also technically Ormond is in New Sarpy not Destrehan but it's all a Destrehan address and New Sarpy proper is a trailer community like Paradis.

I definitely would not live in that city.

I would live in the north shore and just have the team cars come pick me up and take me home from practice and games

Nola.com article about Kamara living by the Dome

quote:

While most of his Saints teammates live near the team facility in Metarie or Kenner, Kamara decided to move downtown, into a ground-floor apartment, his floor-to-very-high-ceiling windows facing directly out to the street and the people on them. He walks home from games, from the Superdome to his front door, amid the revelry and the hordes of adoring fans; down Canal Street to high-end fashion stores to browse; around the block to get breakfast at the Ruby Slipper or to pick up groceries

The Creeks of River Ridge

When I lived in Old Metairie, Jrue and Lauren Holiday lived down the street from me.
It was a long street.
