its kinda lost its pizzaz since you can't get them at the thrift store. you pretty much have to buy them new.
You could also make one. this is what our friends that want to shine do. They the latest craze is to decorate a christmas tree on a shirt.
I did one a few years ago about NO SLAVE LABOR/FREE THE ELFS. Down with capitalism schtick. It was well received.

I have one similar to this. I wear it to do my last minute Christmas shopping every year, and I threaten to wear it to pick my daughter up from junior high.

I saw a bunch at Wal*Mart recently. However, these were "new" sweaters that were intentionally designed to look gaudy for Christmas and just don't seem right. You really can't recreate true poor taste in clothing.
Nothing will ever replace the original ca. 1980s sweaters that were intended to look cool at the time but then quickly went out of style and now look absolutely horrendous on all those "awkward family photos" websites.

My wife got us some awful Christmas sweaters with Pugs in Santa hats on them from Kohl's online for $20.00/each
