Personal trip - khakis and a polo.
Business Trip - whatever attire is appropriate for the meeting on the other end.

Ran into a friend flying out of NOLA as I arrived from Miami today and I look like I'm heading to the gym, whereas he was flying to the Bahamas and was dressed up like he was about to go to dinner somewhere.

I dress well, ironed button down and nice pants, with closed toe shoes and socks. Doesn't matter what's on the other end. I never understand the flip flop type, gross.

Long sleeve shirt, long pants, comfortable but sturdy footwear. Ready to fight or flee. I am not a relaxed flyer

Sweat pants or shorts (no belt)
I can't do airport walking in flip flops or sandals, but sneakers for shoes.
I don't fly unless driving is not an option - since 2011 I think I've flown twice.

I fly only a few times a year, but even on long flights I wear khakis or similar, button down, and casual shoes. I don't see how that is uncomfortable.

Comfortable, but unsloppy clothing. Makes me cringe when I see other grown women dressing in basically their pajamas to fly. Usually in layers cause I easily get cold on the plane.
