And no end in sight to the ignorance. After Broome will just be another ignorant AF racebaiter.

We don't want you. We envision a fully literate populace.

You know, I've also been waiting for this to start. I thought it would be attacked with a renewed vigor as I know a lot of people who didn't sign who are more than ready to now. But from what I can kinda put together, the defeat COMPLETELY crushed the organizers. Just brutally sucked the air out and left them all shaking their heads.

The burden to prove a signature on a petition is legit is extraordinarily high. Like, if there's a tiny deviation from the way you signed your driver's license to how it appears on the petition, the registrar is like "NOPE! NEXT!".

I think it's abundantly clear the only way you incorporate inside the unincorporated part of this parish is if the city allows it to happen. If not, the cards are so stacked against you that it's almost impossible to make happen.

The petition 2 years ago was unprecedented. I don't think anybody knew it at the time, but that was probably the best shot... no matter how many cops got shot or black panthers have shown up or ridiculously stupid shite our brain dead mayor does now.

It's probably just time to move away. The dregs won. Give them the city and see what they can do with less and less property tax revenue.

I would seriously consider north Alabama near the TN boarder. Near Chattanooga. It's beautiful country up that way.

Discretion is the better part of valor. Getting the hell out is the smartest move anyone that can should do. Why stick around?

St. George will probably have one of the highest opioid use per capita in the state.

Lose once.. Never try again.. Sounds like a confident approach.

The timing was probably against them. Had they waited until 2016-2017, and all the chaos that erupted in this city, could you imagine the support they would have received?

Note: I think the lead organizers are using the populace's genuine desire to form a better city/school system for their own personal power grab. They don't care about the school, but they sure do want those tax dollars!
