CNN started out great as an unbiased, 24 news report viewed as such around the world. Late 90's Fox introduced the tabloid "race to the bottom" which many viewers sucked up.

BBC is still something like that.

All US news outlets are just suckering the rubes.

There were hundreds of people in the US Navy at the time who could have been interviewed by the media. That naval gunnery expert would have told us that the USS Maine's gunpowder charges may have spontaneously ignited due to instability caused by the hot and humid climate in Cuba.

Bad journalism is the reason why that never happened.

Mostly during the election of barack hussein. Thats when it went straight loco. But even back in the Vietnam War the dems decided we should lose the war and started tilting the press.

Now Pelosi and her aides control 90% of the press.

The 2nd Gulf War is a good divergence point. I'm old enough to remember Wolf Blitzer as CNN's pentagon reporter during the 1st one. In my teen eyes at the time he was what you'd want from a reporter...just the facts and his own insight from knowing his "beat". Now he's an insufferable DNC crack licker.

The closest right now is Jennifer Griffen on FNC. She has worked her arse off over the past 8 years to stay away from controversial reporting at the pentagon. Afghanistan was a big story that she just reported what she was being told and let the anchors & analysts figure out what was BS and what wasn't.

Trump v Billary v Biden pushed MSDNC past all rational thought and we've seen this week how far they're gone. Their viewers had a rebellion over their hiring of someone TRUMP HAD FIRED. That whole network (and it's watchers) belong in Billary's basket of deplorables. As for CNN. They took a hard turn left and frankly the longer their on-air staff is there the further left they become. Kaitlyn "Resting Bitch Face" Collins is a great recent example. She was a breath of fresh air from Arrogant Acosta. Then she did the town hall a year ago, was hammered/sent for "reprogramming", and now is just a insufferable as Erin Burnett (who had a similar track).

FNC is good from 8am until Baier goes off at 6pm. (I still miss Redeye.) CNN is hit and miss but Manu Raju's capital bill reporting is decent. Anything in studio is dogshit. MSDNC is beyond saving. I've flip it on just to fall asleep as they draw out a half hour program to an hour with pauses.... after.... every.... single....word. My cousin thinks Joy Ried is horrible because she's not far enough left for him. (He's a "democratic socialist"... essentially a commie.) That's who they're going after. It's scary there's actually that large of a viewership for that crap.

Sunday shows...Bream is the only centrist. Russert wasn't a conservative but he still was fair to all sides. Todd ruined that for NBC. George S is a Clinton/Carville shill. CBS tends to lean left with their bookings.
