Any of that Soviet Bloc-inspired architecture from the 70's is awful. Like the FBI in DC

Yeah, I really, really hate those designs. Thank Christ our Student Union is finally being updated to match rustic aesthetic of the rest of Ole Miss' campus, but this monstocity still sits on our campus and should be destroyed as soon as possible given that no one teaches there anymore:

That is my least favorite building in the world and every Ole Miss fan hates that building. Our campus is perfect save for that piece of shite.

Maybe not the ugliest in the world, but I have never liked the looks of it.

It's become an icon of Singapore, but I've never liked the Marina Bay Sands either. The thing on top makes it seem top heavy and unbalanced imo. It does fit in with the surroundings though I'll give it that.

Regenstein Library at the University of Chicago. Most of campus has great gothic architecture, then there's this brutal thing on the site of the old football stadium.

I have come to understand that Aggies hate all things Baylor and or Waco, but the Alico building is a cool landmark and the undergraduate campus in Waco is really pretty. Guess ya'll can't see past the maroon glasses though.

The "Freedom Tower" might be taller, maybe even more sophisticated, but it pales in comparison to this. The height and grandiosity of these buildings stood enormous, gigantic and proud.

The Freedom Tower is just the first phase of what's planned.

The ugliest buildings in history were built during the Cold War in Soviet Russia. Many still stand, abandoned for decades, in Russia and Soviet bloc countries. Just google it and see for yourself.
