The scariest white trash area I've seen in Louisiana is Eastover Estates in Denham.

Why in the hell is Minden popping up over and over?
Minden is not a white trash town. I have never lived there nor have any family there so no dog in the fight.

If you want white trash in North La., look no further than most of the banks around Lake Bistineau. There are a few nice spots but most of it is like taking the third world and the zombie apocalypse, putting them in a bag and vigorously shaking the bag till they are properly mixed.

I'm from Minden, and I would never live there now that I'm in college. However, let me assure you that there's quite a few really nice neighborhoods and some old money. I'd primarily never live there because the schools suck, there's nowhere to eat, and generally nothing to do
Sure, when I go back I get a good laugh at some of the trash, just like I do every LA small town. But overall, the town is really clean and it gets 100x worse than Minden throughout the state. fact.

It is going downhill quick though. Unfortunately, that can be said for a lot of towns in Louisiana.

I can't confirm nor deny. When I briefly came back to visit, everything seemed the same. Maybe I was more blissfully ignorant to it in the past, but I did notice there was more white trash than usual. Still, I still see quite a few nice houses being thrown up, and everything else seemed to be the norm
