Looking is natural, but staring is frowned upon. Asking for a quick sip is also frowned upon.

People who are bothered by it need to grow up.

If you didn't bring enough to share with everyone, then don't eat or drink in front of others.

I do not understand how people get offended by this. I mean it is part of the circle of life.

Just let the baby cry and when you see everybody getting upset about it give the baby the boob and nobody will complain because now there is silence.

With the new tent like cover up, I don't see any problem anyone else should have with this. I have no problem if someone wants to breast feed their infant in public with or without the cover-up. How could anyone be so cruel to deny an infant it's feeding to comply with social mores?

I'm not sure that it can be called offensive, it's a mother feeding her child. It's actually what titties are for, anything else is just gravy. It can be a little distasteful. I'd rather not see a Rosie O'Donnel look-a-like whip out her chewed up pencil eraser nipple while I'm having lunch, for example.

It is distasteful to openly do it in public. Have a little decency and either wear a cover-up or go into the restroom.

Would you eat in a bathroom? If you wouldn't, why would you expect an infant to do so?

Because an infant has no clue of the world 6 inches around them. They make family bathrooms for shite just like this. It is rude, crass and lacks decency.

If a dude can say he's a chick and a chick can be a dude whenever they want.

And breastfeeding is 100% natural then it shouldn't even be a question.

No, but infants are far more susceptible to illness than adults and eating in a bathroom just doesn't strike me as being sanitary. Most places don't have family bathrooms.

What's rude, crass, and lacks decency is expecting a hungry baby to either go hungry or eat in a place where people defecate.

I have no issue with it, but I have seen quite a few breastfeeding moms try to make a spectacle out of it. My wife breast fed my son, but she would go to the bedroom to do it if other people were at the house or we were at someones house. If we went out, she would pump the bottles and he would eat drink from those. My son didn't care if it came from the tit or the bottle he just wanted to be fed.

Is it wrong to look if a woman does this in public?

In our culture, where violence is celebrated and tits are taboo, it's hard not to do a double take.

But yes, it is wrong to take a long creepy gander. Once you have a wife that breastfeeds your kids or "pumps" you will learn to never glance at a woman doing the same. Because it isn't sexy. At all.

A lady in Portland about 6 years ago gave zero fricks about pulling her tit out and feeding her baby.

And she shouldn't. I've told this story before and will tell it again. I was in Blockbuster (obviously many moons ago) and this mom was looking for a movie to rent for her 12 year old. She asks the clerk about "The Marine." The clerk tells her it is extremely violent. Her response..."As long as there is no nudity that's fine."

Tits aren't for just slapping and such. They serve a purpose. Being an American, I still do a double take when a tit is whipped out, but that's my problem. It isn't offensive, whatever that means.
