Only got 3 days. Got two weeks with the 2nd because it was a C section

That's shifty. I guess the c section is considered a harder recovery for the mamma.

During those 2 weeks, I learned about midnight diaper changes and how girls can can spray peepee just as well as boys.
I also learned that Prosobe was yuuuuuuummmmiiie. Well to her anyway.

Does it count if we were hired, but didn't start for 8 months? If so, 8 months.

ETA: Looking back, it was actually 10 months.

My intern year I didnt get to choose my vacation. They assigned me the Month of may. Glorious month since I spent the previous 8-9months working on average 6 days a week.

Right now

My last day at work was November 4th. My cardiologist has said I can return to the office on half day basis starting February 1st.

They better give me at least a week when my twins are born. I'm sure I will be worthless at work anyway for the first few months after.

I used to work one month on and one month off when I worked offshore. I would pick up a few bartending shifts in between hitches just to make some cash.

Try to get you sleep schedule back to what is was before your break started or you'll be miserable.

What are some suggestions you guys have for me after having four weeks off?

Update your resume. If you were not needed for four weeks then you are replaceable.

if i take off too much time consecutively from work... i lose my momentum and then there's no way i can even get out of bed. i either need 0-1 days off a week or never work again. my mind and body can't handle the in between.

Teacher so I get the summers off

And the way the union has it set up I get like 4 personal days a year plus 3 weeks of paid sick days.

Not to mention all federal holidays, spring break, extended Christmas break.

This is probably one of the biggest motivators for me getting into teaching.

And FWIW I live in CT so the teaching salary isn't great but not bad. You do need a masters in this state tho and getting certified was quite a project.
