In high school my tv remote broke so I started using a hockey stick I had to push channel up/down buttons! I sat just far enough away from tv where I could extend my arm maybe halfway and change channels

One time when I was in college I was freezing cold and too lazy to get up to turn the heater on. So instead, I wrote a quick program on my laptop that had an infinite loop in it, so that my CPU jumped to 100% load. The laptop got hot and the fans were going at full blast, and then I just went under the covers until it got really warm.

This one time I scheduled myself for an elective colostomy with a feeding tube to be placed in my stomach so I wouldn't have to get off the sofa to take a poop or make a snack.

When I lived at home I would use my cell phone to call our landline and get my sisters to bring me something to eat or drink because I didn't want to walk downstairs and do it myself.

I have three sisters. They're 6, 8, and 10 years younger than me. When they were little I was able to convince them to do it. Before the youngest was old enough to get sick of it and tell me to frick off I was out of the house.
